i don't know why i'm watching this movie, someone should come in here and turn it off because it doesn't look like i'm going to any time soon. it must be the masochist in me that keeps making me sit through HP3 over and over, i hate it so, and yet this is the fourth time i've watched it. it's so horrible... i hate david thewlis as lupin, he's just waaay to close to harry for comfort. and i just saw the bogart scene, when he told neville to picture snape in his grandmother's clothes it just sounded so... dirty. and then they have harry and lupin on a random bridge in the middle of nowhere, alone. it's just creepy. ah snape, he is a breath of fresh air, i never would have thought from the book that the part where snape is teaching in lupin's place would be a good thing, but in the movie it's a welcome change, i luff alan rickman. snape is teh smex. lol. emma thompson is another one that i love, she's great as trelawney, but then again she's always great. i'm just lucky that gary oldman has grown on me (well, when it comes to 3, when it comes to 5 it's bad timing), so sirius isn't *completely* and totally bad anymore, lol. he's still to old though ><, lupin was described as young, so therefore so is sirius. and in the movie, niether of them are. and now lupin and harry are walking through the woods alone, what the hell. also, one other complaint about the bogart, that was obviously a moon, it's supposed to be an orb that only hermione realizes is the moon, not "omg clouds, it's a moon!" also drives me insane that they never explain mooney, wormtail, padfoot, and prongs, it would have taken all of two minutes. and lastly, i love gred and forge.
i can't wait for the 5th movie or the 7th book, both are going to be interesting. it's kind of sad that the books are ending though, they've been around more than half my life. it feels like some kind of definite end to my childhood, what with senior year starting in september and everything *sigh*. and part of me wishes she'd continue with books about the mauraders or something, but the other part of me worries that she'd ruin our image of them, not to mention ruining snape by making him snivellus.
...yeah, lupin is alone with harry way too much in this movie.
ETA: embraced like brothers my ass.
EETA: quarreling like an old married couple. snape wins at life for that line.
